Terms of Service

Welcome to FanMap (“we”, “us”, “the site”), an entertainment web application where football fans buy votes for their club and the club with the most votes in a country paints that country's color. By accessing or using FanMap you agree to these Terms.

FanMap is a fun, satirical fan game. Nothing on the site represents actual sovereignty, political statement, or endorsement of any team, league, or federation. Country coloring is purely virtual and cosmetic.

1. What FanMap is

You can pay a small amount to buy votes for any football club. Votes accumulate per country; the club with the most votes in a country “owns” that country's color and badge on the map until another club overtakes it. Prices grow along a bonding curve as a country heats up.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA/UK).
• If under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian.
• You must have the legal right to use the payment method you provide.

3. Fan conduct & acceptable content

FanMap is a place for banter, not abuse. You are solely responsible for the team you back and, if we later enable public handles or messages, for anything you submit. You must not use FanMap to:

• Post hate speech, targeted harassment, or slurs against fans, players, or clubs.
• Impersonate a real person, club, or brand without permission.
• Promote violence, illegal activity, or incite hooliganism.
• Distribute malware, phishing links, or scam offers.
• Infringe copyright, trademark, or privacy rights.

We reserve the right to hide, remove, or refuse any content or user at any time, with or without notice, and to keep the payment as described in the Refund Policy.

4. Payments and refunds

Payments are processed by Polar.sh as merchant of record. Prices are shown in USD; your bank may apply currency conversion or surcharges. Because votes are digital and applied instantly to the leaderboard, purchases are generally final. See our Refund Policy for exceptions.

Bonus votes shown at checkout (e.g. “+25 free bonus”) are a promotional multiplier and have no independent cash value. Free votes granted per country per browser are a one-time gift and non-transferable.

5. Trademarks and club marks

Club names, badges, and colors used on FanMap are the property of their respective owners and are shown for identification and fan-tribute purposes only. FanMap is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any club, league, or federation. If you are a rights holder and want your mark removed, email fanmap@gmail.com.

6. Prohibited conduct

• Circumventing rate limits, checkout validation, or the free-vote gift.
• Automated scraping beyond what our public sitemap permits.
• Reverse-engineering the API to submit payloads directly.
• Using FanMap to distribute malware, phishing, or spam.

7. Disclaimers

FanMap is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, that any specific club will win a country, or that a vote lead will last for any duration.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to FanMap is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $50 USD, whichever is lower.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced on the homepage and via the updated date at the top of this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.

10. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, without regard to conflict of laws. Any disputes go first to good-faith negotiation over email. For anything: fanmap@gmail.com.
